Hey y’all! I was reviewing some of my notes from my Appalachian trail thru hike this past summer and found your email address. I was supposed to send you my photo on Mount Katahdin when I finished!
Not sure if you remember me. My name is Ryan De Priest, trail name Squeaky. I was in Duncannon on 7/17/24 and had a very nice spaghetti dinner with you folks. I think it may have been your last spaghetti dinner of the season? Maybe you had one more? Anyway, we had a very nice chat about the trail. I remember telling you guys about how I was spreading my brother’s ashes in special locations as I hiked. The AT was his favorite place in the world, and it quickly became one of mine as well. I really enjoyed our conversation and wanted to let you all know I finished! Here’s a photo of me on 10/3/24 at the summit of Mount Katahdin.
